At Gallanach we have a 1500 acre hill sheep farm.
The beaches of Gallanach coast number 7.
In summer, swimming is fabulous, safe and secluded.

Common Seal © Tony OliverGallanach has many environmental designations:- Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), Environmentally Sensitive Area, Special Protection Area and our hill is a RAMSAR site.
Seals or very common and otters can be regularly seen.

Many of the place names on Coll are norse or gaelic in origin, common in the western isles.
